1. Football Scores. Hillgrove 41-21, Lithia Springs fell to Haralson County 7-6, and Colonial Hills lost to the team that put them out of the playoffs last year, Faith Christian, 30-14. had the night off Friday.

4. Memorial Tennis Tournament. The 2011 Jefferson Bradford Memorial Tennis Tournament was held this weekend to honor the late Jeff Bradford of Powder Springs, the Marietta Daily Journal reports. Bradford, who played tennis at the Lost Mountain tennis court, died at 45 from a cardiac problem in 2010.
