The heat is predicted to come as the Powder Springs City Council and Douglas County Board of Commissioners are set to meet.
1. Powder Springs City Council. The council is set to meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the office.
2. Douglas County Board of Commissioners. The board is scheduled to have a work session this morning at 10 at the Douglas County Courthouse at 8700 Hospital Drive in Douglasville. The meeting's agenda is attached to this article.
3. Weather. The National Weather Service is predicting that today will be mostly sunny. High: 94/Low: 67
