Why Go: Who doesn't love good times to the sound of free music? There's also going to be karaoke and a DJ Saturday starting at 8 p.m.

2. THE HAWKS ARE AT HOME 
Where/When: Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta; 7 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go: Your closest-to-home professional basketball team will be taking on the Charlotte Bobcats.

3. BLACK DIAMOND (Band, two nights)
Where/When:  in Dallas; Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Why Go: The band will be playing for several hours while you enjoy the bar's affordable drinks.
Pricing: $3 cover

4. HARMS WAY (Band)
Where/When:  in Douglasville; Saturday starting at 9 p.m.
Why Go: Don't be scared of the name; just enjoy the music. On Friday, the pub will have a DJ playing starting at 9 p.m.
Pricing: $5 cover for band/$3 cover for guys on DJ night

5. DJs SPINNING THE TURN TABLES
Where/When: ; Friday and Saturday starting at 9 p.m.
Why Go: One of the few bars in the Powder Springs-Lithia Springs area, J.R. Crickets never disappoints.
Pricing: No cover, but purchasing food and drinks is encourage.
