Tornado Seen Near Lost Mountain Park

Chances for isolated tornadoes will continue until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Trained weather spotters reported a tornado moving northeast at 35 miles per hour near , according to the National Weather Service.

A tornado watch for Cobb, Douglas and several other Georgia counties has been issued by the National Weather Service until 8 p.m. 

Heavy rain is forecast to continue into tonight as a result of Tropical Depression Lee. Most of the initial heavy rain will be absorbed by the dry ground; however, prolonged rain could cause flooding in creeks and streams.
