Two Join Council Race

At-large Councilwoman Rosalyn Neal now has two opponents after qualifying ended on Thursday.

1. Election Ballot Set. Thursday was the last day to qualify for November's election, when Powder Springs citizens will be voting for mayor and the two at-large council seats. Joining the race on Thursday were Edith Page Gude and Raymond “Rick” Perry. Here's everyone who qualified this week in alphabetical order:

Mayor: Paul Moore, Larry "Rick" Richardson (former Powder Springs police chief), and Pat Vaughn (incumbent)

Post 1: Edith Page Gude, Rosalyn Neal (incumbent), and Raymond “Rick” Perry
