Up to an Inch of Snow Expected

The National Weather Service says the storm will likely move into Cobb and Douglas on Wednesday night.

A statement from the National Weather Service warns that Cobb, Douglas and several other counties could see up to an inch of snow or ice Wednesday night and Thursday.

A low pressure system is expected to track across the gulf and deal the North another wintry blow while giving the South some of the white stuff. But it's early in the game.

"There is still plenty of uncertainty concerning the strength of the system which will have a significant impact on how much snow or mixed winter precipitation could occur," the statement said Tuesday morning.
