Marietta, GA - The Cobb Elder Abuse Task Force has arranged to have representatives from the Public Safety sector of Cobb County to discuss and help educate the public concerning soaring elder abuse problems. Along with the rapidly growing elderly population, crimes of elder abuse have also increased. This seminar will provide information on the many types of elder abuse and how to identify, prevent and report them. Vic Reynolds, the District Attorney for Cobb County, will speak about the issue and answer questions. Also, other representatives from the county Police Department and the Sheriff’s department will  be on hand to take questions. The Police and Sheriff’s office will discuss recent elder abuse activities in Marietta and how they were resolved. Make plans to attend this very informative, educational and worthwhile seminar. You’ll be glad you did.
