Military Appreciation Pregame will honor two former baseball players actively serving, several Hillgrove staff who are veterans and our honored guest is Alex Juedes and family.
Alex is a Hillgrove alumni, 2012, who is a wounded warrior in recovery and rehabilitation at Bethesda Medical Hospital in Maryland. Alex was hit with an IED in January while serving in Afghanistan. Hillgrove baseball will be selling Military Appreciation Game t-shirts with all proceeds benefiting Alex and his recovery. Shirts come in adult sizes XS-XL for $15.00 and XXL for $18.00. If interested in purchasing a t-shirt or donating to the Alex Juedes recovery fund please contact hillgrovedugoutclub@gmail.com. Checks to be made out to Hillgrove Dugout Club.
All veterans and active service men and women will receive FREE admittance and acknowledgement of their time of service during the ballgame. All other admittance is $5.00 per person. Please share this with your friends, family, veterans, and all servicemen/women!
