Live On the Lawn

Looking for a fun event
this summer?  Powder Springs is proud to

present their new summer concert series, Live on the Lawn!  Bring your family and lawn chairs to the
beautiful Town Square in downtown Powder Springs. The concert series is free
and open to the public.  The fun begins
at 6 p.m. with food trucks and pre-show music and entertainment provided by DJ Samuel.  Known for his work at the Sweet
Auburn Festival, DJ Samuel will get you primed and ready for an entertainment filled night.  


The
series kicks off on Thursday, June 12th with Milkshake
Mayfield.  Milkshake is a world renowned
trumpeter and flugelhorn player who has traveled the world and played with the likes of Dizzie Gillespie, Duke Ellington, and Wynton Marsalis.  He is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.  On July 17th we will be favored by

the Men in Blues band who are an energetic Atlanta band that
plays funky classic rock & roll, soul, R&B, funk, blues, oldies, and country.  On August 14th the series will
conclude with the spectacular RSVP Atlanta band.  RSVP Atlanta is one of the
most energetic, entertaining, and talented young bands in the Metro-Atlanta area.
