Mommy & Me - Wild about Winter Animals

Last week’s program was canceled due to the winter road conditions, so let's try this again and cross our fingers that we have better weather this week.  We may be talking about winter, but that doesn't mean we want any more snow and ice!  On Thursday we’ll learn about what animals do during the winter. First we’ll hear “The Mitten,” a Ukrainian folktale about a group of animals that find a mitten in the snow. Afterwards we’ll learn how animals really behave, do an art project, and explore some fun activities. Join us for a wild time!

Designed for preschool age children ages three to five-years-old and their caregivers, the Museum’s history, themes and exhibits provide a fun and exciting starting point for educational activities.

Free with museum admission. No reservations required.
