Lithia Springs Tree Selected for Macy's

After the first tree snapped, a second 70-foot-tall one from Douglas County will stand atop the Lenox Square store, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

After the first pine from Douglas County snapped, a second one was needed to become the Macy's Great Tree.

A 70-foot-tall, 50-year-old Georgia white pine from Lithia Springs resident Rachel Deal's yard was selected, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

A YouTube video of the 2010 tree's lighting is attached.
