A Very Clarkdale Christmas

Come celebrate the Christmas season at Clarkdale United Methodist Church.

Remember the reason for the season this Christmas at Clarkdale United Methodist Church.

Come celebrate Christmas with us this year by attending one or all of our special seasonal events!

First on December 18th at 11 AM, we will have our Annual Christmas Cantata. Clarkdale United Methodist Church choir will be performing a very special selection of Christmas-themed music to ensure that everyone gets in the holiday spirit.

The holiday spirit continues that evening at 7 PM, when the Clarkdale Youth group will put on a Christmas Play, “The Challenge”.  The play is about a group of young people who take on the challenge of finding the perfect gift to present to the church as a gift to Jesus on Christmas. Along the way they learn the meaning of sharing Christmas with everyone they meet.

To further celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Clarkdale UMC will be having a Christmas Eve Communion/Candlelight Service on December 24th at 6 PM, and a Christmas Day Service on December 25th at 11 AM.

Finally, we plan to bring in the New Year with our church family at the New Year's Day Service on January 1st at 11 AM.

We hope you will join us this season in putting aside the hustle and bustle of the holidays to remember the true reason we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

All events will be held at Clarkdale United Methodist Church, 5061 Austell Powder Springs Road, Clarkdale, Georgia 30111. Church Office: 770-948-3545.
