A Newfound Passion

I have found a new passion for being healthy that includes group fitness—you may consider this a bit of a stretch but just read on.

What you ask? Cobb County is filled with 1-mile fun runs and 5k runs that have a festival and family atmosphere and feeling. It's family friendly—see I told you, group fitness. 

My family and I discovered the passion just over a year ago, doing the 5k runs and training for them. We've ventured outside of Cobb County.

This Saturday, we will participate in the 28th annual Fuzz Run in Covington, GA. My husband has a college friend that lives in Convington, and he's invited us to join him and his family for the second year.

Of course, no run is complete without the T-shirt, and my husband and I agree that this Tshirt is the best by far.

The carnival atmosphere and giveaways are ideal for the family. A slogan for the run has always been, "Don't run from the police, run with them!"
