Tapp Drama Club Presents Honk Jr.

The drama club at Tapp Middle School brings family entertainment to Powder Springs this weekend with their performance of Honk Jr.

The Drama Club will be performing the musical Honk Jr. this weekend in the Tapp auditorium.

Students began rehearsing in October, under the direction of choral director Lauren Hemmings. This year marks the 5th year at Tapp for Hemmings, as well as her fifth musical production at the school.

Honk is a musical of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Ugly Duckling with an important message about tolerance. In 2000, it won “Best Musical” in London. Honk Jr. is a shortened version of the musical aimed toward younger audiences.
