Dr. Michael Reese Dies at 59
A "Celebration of Life" reception will be held Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dogwood Golf Club in Austell.
Dr. Michael David Reese, a 59-year-old Powder Springs man, passed away Monday after a long illness.
Reese had practiced family medicine for more than 30 years in the Douglasville area.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Rogers Reese; children, Chelsea Erin Reese Gaswint of Kennesaw and Walker Rogers Reese of Atlanta; father, Bruce Allen Reese and brother, Bruce Taylor Reese of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Pam Reese Frost of Golden, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews "who were crazy about him," according to his obituary from the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.

A "Celebration of Life" reception will be held Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dogwood Golf Club at 4207 Flint Hill Road in Austell.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice (1957 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 500, Tucker, GA 30083) or the American Lung Cancer Society.
