Jane Brown: The 76-year-old died Saturday, June 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bellamy Chapel Hiram with Dr. Gil Watson officiating.  Interment will be at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery. 

V. Ruth Carter-Elbon: The 79-year-old of Powder Springs died Friday, June 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2, at Bellamy Chapel Powder Springs at 2 p.m. Pastor Nicky Boyd-White, Ground Breaking Agape Ministries, will officiate, with interment at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. 

Wanda Wallace: The 51-year-old of Powder Springs died July 1, 2013. Funeral services are pending.

Anna Fay Lynch: Sept.12, 1927 - June 24, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. July 3 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hendersonville, N.C.

Thomas Tyrrell: Jan. 30, 1941 - June 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Marietta. Interment will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Cobb County Unit, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., No. 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

Johnny Robert Thomason: Dec. 4, 1943 - July 1, 2013. Funeral services for the Rockmart resident (Paulding County) will be held Wednesday, July 3, at 2 p.m. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dave Whorton officiating. Interment will follow in the Powder Springs City Cemetery.
