Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2595 New Macland Road, Powder Springs. 

Gisele Prophete Joseph: March 17, 1928 - May 21, 2013. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 31. 

James McCleod: Sept. 13, 1960 - May 22, 2013. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Christian Center in Smyrna with the Rev. Hackney officiating.

Mattie Sue Newsome: Oct. 1, 1921 - May 30, 2013. A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta with the Rev. David LeGrand officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. 

Gladys Wigley Smith: April 11, 1918 - May 28, 2013. A service of celebration of life will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Mayes Ward Chapel. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Barbara Ida Webb Sanders: April 28, 1932 - May 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, with the Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Billie Mae Staton: Sept. 2, 1932 - May 22, 2013. A memorial service in her honor will be held Saturday, June 1, at noon at her residence in Douglasville.
