Emory Whit "E.W." Chastain: Oct.14, 1923 – Sept. 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kennesaw United Methodist Church in Kennesaw with the Rev. Dr. Wallace Wheeles officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

C.W. "Bill" Maloney: Dec. 22, 1921 – Sept. 6, 2013. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. The Rosary will be said at 4 p.m.

Richard Morris: May 30, 1942 – Sept. 12, 2013. A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Mableton.

Contributions may be made in loving memory of Richard to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Choir, 587 Landers Drive SW, Mableton, GA 30126.

Lemma Goodson Poteete: Dec. 2, 1918 – Sept. 14, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 21, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. followed by a funeral at 2 at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Church Street, Marietta. Pallbearers will be Ken Smith, Kevin Poteete, Don Tyson, Jason Petteys, Andrew Tyson and Clint Petteys. Interment will be at Noonday Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dorothy M. Smithwick "Dot": Jan. 28, 1932 – Sept. 16, 2013. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Perry Sapp and Dr. William Camp officiating. Interment will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.

Contributions may be made to Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, 475 Dickson Ave. NW, Marietta, GA 30064.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Herbert Gerald "Jerry" Warriner Jr.: June 17, 2013 – Sept. 9, 2013. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory, Macland Chapel, Powder Springs.

The family will receive friends at a reception to immediately follow the service.

Judy Beth Clark: March 26, 1940 – Sept. 13, 2013. Interment will be on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Greenback, Tenn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Burnt Hickory Baptist Church for missions and the choir.

Beverly Jean Martin: April 4, 1931 – Sept. 17, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
