Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory

Marianne Willingham Gilliam: Jan. 30, 1964 – Sept. 5, 2013. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Chapel in Marietta with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment will be at St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery in Marietta.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mary Rebecca "Becky" Jones: Nov. 2, 1922 – Aug. 30, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at First United Methodist Church in Marietta with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating.

The graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in Vienna City Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to The Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC) of Cobb County. 

Bobbie N. Moody: Aug. 18, 1927 – Sept. 3, 2013. A private graveside service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to The Church of Our Redeemer, 2625 Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30066; or to a charity of one’s choice.

Bobbie C. Shumate: Feb. 8, 1934 – Sept. 5, 2013. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain.

Contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.

West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory

Winnifred E. Campbell: Dec. 30, 1964 – Aug. 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 14, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to noon at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

Hazel Marie Chicosky: Sept. 13, 1938 – Sept. 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.

Ernest Heinrich Franke: Dec. 2, 1926 – Sept. 6, 2013. A private family service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

Ret. Col. Donald Lee Keil: July 1, 1935 – Sept. 6, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Marietta First United Methodist Church with Rev.'s Sam Matthews, Caludette Farmer and Elaine Wilder officiating. Interment will be at Bluff Hall Church Cemetery in Quincy, Ill., at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled Veteran’s Association.

Robert L. McGuire: Dec. 19, 1926 – Aug. 11, 2013. Services will be scheduled at a later date.
