Jerry Gorth, Army Vet, Dies at 46

The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jerry Roland Gorth Jr., a 46-year-old Powder Springs man, passed away Tuesday.

The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ambrose Funeral Home in Lansdowne, MD. The family will receive friends at that funeral home on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A native of Baltimore Highlands, MD, Gorth moved to Powder Springs in 1999. He owned and operated the , was a veteran of the Army, and was a member of the American Legion.

Children, Mark Worley of Vinings, and Kristy Coffey and husband Richie of Zebulon, GA
Sisters, Denise Nickman and husband Barry of Maryland, and Cindy Lease and husband Ray of Maryland
Grandchildren, Rachel Braylee Coffey and Nathan Brant Coffey
Nieces, Katie Smith, Jessica Baldwin and Sherrie Nickman
