Johnny Dixon Dies at 78
The family will receive friends at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday.
Johnny J. Dixon, 78, of Powder Springs, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012.
The family will receive friends at the on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9 in the chapel of , 2480 Macland Road in Marietta, with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

Born in Chatsworth, GA, Mr. Dixon had lived in Cobb County for over 50 years. He was the Owner/Operator of Dixon Service Company and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Dixon; children, Johnny Lamar Dixon and wife, Pat of Hiram, Sherry Greene and husband, Kenny of Powder Springs, and Leslie Dixon of Marietta; siblings, Mary Crumbley of Chatsworth, GA, Wilma English of Cumming, GA, Glenda Ann Satterfield of Crandall, GA, Pearl Ellis of Chatsworth, GA; Winfred Dixon of Tennessee and George Dixon of Marietta; grandchildren, Michelle Kowalchyk, Chelsea Dixon, Corey Greene and Jess Taylor, II; great-granddaughter, Heidi Greene; and several nieces and nephews.
