Juanita Hayley Dies at 81

Juanita S. Hayley, an 81-year-old Powder Springs resident, passed away on Tuesday.

Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday at , with Rev. Cindy Blocksidge officiating. Interment will follow at Macland Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. 

Born in Kentucky, Hayley lived in Hoover, AL for many years before moving to Powder Springs in 1998. She worked as a secretary for the Southern Company for more than 25 years before retirement. She was a member of the Knit Wits at the West Cobb Senior Center, and sang in the choir at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her son, Michael Hayley of Miami, FL; Cindy Williams and husband Melvin of Acworth; sisters Barbara Dunn, Artie Brown, Jackie Shadoan, Janet Stewart and Pattie Stewart; and grandchildren Hayley and Jesse Williams.
