Linda L. Coin, 67, Loved Hairdressing, Cooking, Baking and Gardening

Funeral service will be held May 31 at 11 a.m. at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville.

Linda L. Coin, age 67 of Powder Springs, passed away, Tuesday, May 27, 2014.  She was born March 5, 1947 in Pontiac Michigan to Donna Lucille Tiltman Coward and the late James Woodrow Coward.  She was a Cosmetologist in the early part of her life and most recently worked in retail. Her passions and hobbies were hairdressing, cooking, baking and gardening. She worked during her career in the retail industry. She was a member of the Calvary Church of God.

In addition to her father, James Woodrow Coward, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Coin, son, Gary Lee Coin, II, brothers, John Coward and Donald Coward.

Survivors are her mother, Donna Lucille Tiltman Coward of Clarkston, MI; son: Gregory Leonard Coin of Douglasville; brother, sisters and spouses:  Robert and Mildred Coward of Davisburg, MI; Pamela and Darwin Heilman of Burton, MI, Brenda and Russ Wright and Kimberly and Jeff Noble, all of Waterford, MI;  and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville.  Interment will be Monday, June 2, 2014,in the Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
