Otis Smith, Korean War Vet, Dies at 77

He retired from General Motors in 1985 after 31 years.

Otis Lee Smith, 77, of Powder Springs, died Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012.

The family received vistors Sunday, Oct. 14 at Bellamy Funeral Home.

Otis was a Korean War veteran. He also retired from General Motors in 1985 after 31 years.Β  Β

Survivors include his wife, Carole Smith of Powder Springs; three daughters, Kandy White of Powder Springs, Teresa Smith of Powder Springs and Robin Hutcheson of Douglasville; two sons, Kevin McCrackin of Roopville and Andrew Smith of Powder Springs; one sister, Inez Shattuc of Riverdale; one brother, J.H. Smith of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.Β
