Ruth Hackney Dies at 84
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m.
Ruth Hackney, an 84-year-old Lithia Springs woman, passed away Wednesday at Tranquility Hospice in Austell.
The family will receive friends at in Douglasville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m., with Rev. Jerry Adair officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery.
She was born May 20, 1927 in Fulton County. She was a homemaker and a member of .

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Dean Hackney, and her son, Larry Hackney.
She is survived by her four daughters, Gloria Jean Tucker of Villa Rica, Linda Hirsh of Florida, and Valerie Green and Becky Radford of Lithia Springs; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
