Head-On Crash Injures 2

One of them, 31-year-old Douglasville resident Traci Bishop, was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center after the wreck on Skyview Drive in Lithia Springs.

Traci Lynn Bishop, a 31-year-old Douglasville resident, was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center this morning after a head-on wreck on Skyview Drive in Lithia Springs.

Bishop and the other person injured in the wreck, 29-year-old Daniel Bryant Wright Jr. of Lithia Springs, are in stable condition, according to Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright.

The two-vehicle crash happened about 6:30 a.m. west of Maxham Road.

Daniel Wright, who was driving a 2006 Ford Taurus, was traveling west on Skyview when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a 2008 Ford Fusion, driven by Bishop.

"The impact was headlight to headlight," Gordy Wright said.

Daniel Wright was transported to Douglas WellStar for treatment. He was charged with failing to maintain lane.
