2010 Brings Slight Drops in Crime
Violent and property crimes in Powder Springs fell as compared to 2009, according to data released this week by the FBI.
The violent and property crime rates within the city limits of Powder Springs dropped slightly in 2010 as compared to 2009, according to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports released this week.
Here are the totals from 2010, with those from 2009 in parentheses:

- Murder/non-negligent manslaughter: 1 (0)
- Forcible rape: 1 (2)
- Robbery: 7 (14)
- Aggravated assault: 27 (25)
Total property crimes: 355 (367)
