Boy Regains Pulse After Being Unresponsive

The 22-month-old had been missing from within a Powder Springs home and was found not breathing in an above-ground pool.

Medical personnel have obtained a pulse for a 22-month-old boy who was found unresponsive and not breathing in an above-ground pool this afternoon, saidΒ Sgt. Brandon Gurley with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.

The boy was taken to Douglas General in Douglasville, where the pulse was obtained, and officials are in the process of getting him flown to Scottish Rite in Atlanta, Gurley said.

The boy went missing from inside a house on Cowart Drive in Powder Springs and was later found outside in the pool, Gurley said.
