Ten days ago, an East Cobb man who gives music lessons to children throughout metro Atlanta allegedly sent an image of a man sodomizing a 1-year-old child to someone he did not know.

What 46-year-old Jay Todd Skrabanek did not know, Cobb police said, was that the recipient was an undercover officer.

Now Skrabenek is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on one count of possession and one count of distribution of child pornography.

Sgt. Dana Pierce today asked the public to help Cobb investigators find children who may have had contact with Skrabanek, who has been a piano accompanist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and with the choir of the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Decatur.

When authorities went to Skrabanek's Smokerise Circle home Wednesday with a search warrant, they found at least two videos of children as young as 4 years old engaged in sex acts with men, according to an arrest warrant.

In one of the videos, the 4-year-old cries as a man sodomizes the child, police said.

Anyone with information about children who may have had contact with Skrabanek is asked to call 770-801-3470.
