Copper Wire Stolen from Brownsville Road Cell Tower

A similar incident happened at the Coach Ford Center about a month and a half ago.

A MetroPCS employee told the responding officer on June 23 that multiple lines of copper wire had been stolen from the cell tower at 4327 Brownsville Road.

On May 12, a MetroPCS employee that all the copper wire from the cell phone tower at the was cut and stolen.

In both instances, there didn’t appear to be any signs of forced entry, and with the employee only stopping at the towers once a month, it was unclear when the thefts could have occurred, according to reports.

The tower on Brownsville Road is also used by AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. The cost to replace the wire is $1,500, the report says.
