Crash Injuries Kill Powder Springs Man
Thomas Brooks, 61, drove his motorcycle into the back of a car Aug. 12, police say.
A Powder Springs motorcyclist injured in a collision Aug. 12 in Austell has died.
Thomas Brooks, 61, died Monday at Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was taken in serious condition after the wreck at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 12, spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said in a statement.
Brooks was riding a black 2003 Honda Shadow when he drove into the back of a gray 2003 BMW 745 stopped for the light at the intersection of Powder Springs Road and the East-West Connector.

The BMW’s driver, Steven Edwards, 22, of Springfield, MA, was not hurt.
