Sept. 2
Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 1100 block of New Macland Road. There was "slight damage" to the bumper passenger side and a blue mark appearing to be a paint transfer, according to a report. The driver was inside the bank at the time.

Theft of an Automobile: A red 1989 Chevrolet GMT was reported stolen in the morning from a home in the 3900 block of Brownsville Road. Shattered glass was on the ground underneath the carport, and tire tracks were visible in the yard.

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 4300 block of Aikens Ridge Lane through a downstairs window in the morning. Residents didn't immediately find anything missing. One woman was asleep in the house when someone came into her room and turned on the light. When she asked, "Who is it?" the person fled from the house. The woman was unable to give a description to police.
Burglary: A home in the 3300 block of Rose Garden Court was broken into. Police responded about 11:30 p.m. to the residence's alarm going off. The backdoor had been forced open, and police noticed footprints. The victim later arrived and didn't immediately notice anything missing.
