Deputies to Bus Tables in Powder Springs

Volunteers are raising money for Special Olympics Georgia.

The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday will bus tables at Johnny's Steaks & Barbecue in Powder Springs to raise money for Special Olympics Georgia.

From 10:15 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. April 25, volunteers will accept donations for Special Olympics, which provides year round sports training for more than 24,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Athletes participate free of charge with all costs being covered through donations.
