Electronics Stolen from Abbott Lane Home

The resident was away on a trip to Texas.

Two televisions, a Nintendo Wii video game system and a Cannon digital camera were stolen from the house at 3834 Abbott Lane (see map at right) on either Wednesday or Thursday.

Police were dispatched to the house about 10 a.m. on Thursday on a call of a possible burglary, according to a report. They immediately noticed the backdoor had been entered and the doorframe was “severely” damaged.

The house was vacant while the resident was taking a trip to Texas, the report says. She told police that though no one knew that she was gone except her mother, she did post a comment on Facebook about being on a plane.
