are continuing their internal affairs investigation into a traffic stop where a man claims his genitals were inappropriately touched by an officer.

Police Chief Charlie Sewell told Patch that it isn't clear when the investigation will come to a conclusion.

“What we intend to do is exhaust all leads in that investigation, and until we have a preponderance of the evidence, the case will not be over," he said. "And when the case is concluded, we will make the right decision."

A WSB-TV Channel 2 report shows officer K. Moore asking 23-year-old Brice Wilson to spread his legs during a search for marijuana, and it appears like the officer touches his genitals. Another officer arrived as a struggle began, and Wilson ends up getting shocked with a stun gun.

Police didn't find marijuana, Channel 2 reported, but Wilson still faces a resisting arrest charge. A video of the report is attached to this article via YouTube.

Following incidents involving police where citizens have concerns, Sewell said the department has an "open-door policy."

“We understand that a lot of times when a police officer does his job perfectly well, they upset people," the chief said. "And a lot of times, it’s because people do not understand the procedures that the officer has used. But police officers are not perfect either, and if we were perfect, we wouldn’t need courts."
