Cobb County Police on Thursday released the name of a man killed in a three-vehicle crash that occurred about 11 p.m. Tuesday on South Cobb Drive near Walker Street in Marietta.

According to a CCPD news release, killed in the crash was 19-year-old David Munlyn of Marietta. He was driving a maroon 2009 Kia Spectra that authorities say caused the crash.

For reasons unknown, the Spectra entered the westbound lanes of South Cobb Drive and collided with the Lexus. Moments after the two vehicles came to an uncontrolled stop, the PT Cruiser struck them.
