An estimated $2,800 in items were stolen from 4016 Morning Star Ave. on March 21 between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to a report.
The items in the report: a 32-inch flat screen TV valued at $500; a Toshiba laptop valued at $300; and various pieces of gold and silver jewelry valued at $2,000.
After getting through a wooden fence around the backyard, the burglar or burglars tore a screen from a back window and opened the glass window. They then took the items and left through the back.

Police were able to find some partial fingerprints.
The victim told police a man had walked up to the door at 11:30 a.m. and knocked for a few minutes before walking away. Shortly after, she said, a car drove by and did a U-turn in front of her house before driving away.
