NYPD Officer Charged in Cannibalism Case

An NYPD officer was arrested Wednesday at his New York home for his role in a plan involving "kidnapping, cooking and eating body parts" of as many as 100 women, according to federal authorities.

The grisly details were released by the U.S. Attorney on Thursday afternoon, and included text messages in which suspect 28-year-old Gilberto Valle's co-conspirators asked "How was your meal?" to which Valle responded: "I am meeting her on Sunday," officials said. Read more...

New Hampshire State Police have confirmed that two people died in the small plane crash on Interstate 93 in Hooksett Thursday afternoon.

Drug Ring Bust Nets 25 Arrests

A month-long drug investigation led to the arrest of more than two dozen people in New Jersey Wednesday morning.

Police said 87 officers began arresting the 22 men and three women about 3 a.m. in "Operation Roxicong." Twenty-three of them were charged with offenses related to distribution. 

The drugs included heroin, marijuana and prescription drugs. More than 100 roxicotin or xanax pills were purchased by undercover officers over a one-month period. Read more and see their mugshots...
