Police: Powder Springs Man Touched Kids at White Water

Jerry Dean Westbrook, 68, has been charged with three felony counts of sexual battery against juveniles.

A Powder Springs man is facing charges of sexual battery against children from alleged incidents at Six Flags White Water Park.

Jerry Dean Westbrook, 68, was arrested by Marietta police Tuesday and charged with three felony counts in connection with an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct involving juvenile females at the Cobb County park.

The probe began in September when witnesses said they observed a white man, between the ages of 50 and 70, having inappropriate contact with female children in the wave pool.

Police said Tuesday that Westbrook had a season pass to White Water and was known to frequent the park alone.

The Marietta Police Department is asking anyone who has had contact with this subject at White Water to contact Detective Mark Erion at 770-794-5363.
