Bank Offering Reward For Suspect's Capture

Powder Springs PD needs public's help to identify and locate suspect.

Update, 5:16 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28: PNC Bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this violent armed robbery.

Powder Springs Police Chief Charlie Sewell, along with Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano, FBI Atlanta, is requesting public assistance in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for Mondayday’s armed robbery of PNC Bank, 3720 New Macland Road, Powder Springs.

At about 12:37 p.m., a lone man entered the bank and approached a teller station and pulled out a black revolver and announced a robbery. After threatening the teller with his weapon, the robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank without further incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, late 20’s in age, 6’0” in height, with scruffy facial hair and slender build. He was wearing a black hoodie along and a knit cap.
