Powder Springs Driver Involved in Fatal Crash

Charges are pending.

A 56-year-old Kennesaw motorcyclist involved in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Marietta has died.

About 10:35 p.m., the driver of a 2001 Mazda Millenia turned into the path of Michael A. Michael's 1980 Harley Davidson, which was traveling southbound on Cobb Parkway, said Officer David Auld with the Marietta Police Department.

Michael was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Mazda was identified as Chevelle Gore, 21, of Powder Springs.

Auld said Michael’s motorcycle struck the front of Gore’s Mazda, which was attempting a left turn from northbound Cobb Parkway to White Avenue.

"This crash is still under investigation and charges are still pending," Auld said.
