Powder Springs Teen Accused of Armed Robbery

He was arrested on charges that include armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.

A Powder Springs teenager is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. And he's there, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant, because he allegedly refused to pay for four quarts of Dollar General motor oil.

About 4:55 p.m. June 1, Dominique Marshall entered the store at 4110 Austell Powder Springs Road and allegedly picked up the oil, placed it in a basket and attempted to walk out of the business without paying for the oil, according to the warrant.

An employee asked Marshall to return the oil to the store. Twice, Marshall ignored the requests. The last time, he allegedly cursed at the employee and walked away, according to the warrant.
