Authorities just before 7:45 p.m. arrived at Johnny's restaurant in Powder Springs to investigate smoke coming from the restaurant.
Two Cobb County Fire Department trucks and officers from the Powder Springs Police Department examined the building but discovered no damaging fire. The fire trucks and firefighters returned to service a few minutes later.
