Teen Driving Course Offered by Powder Springs Police

Registration deadline for Dec. 12 class is Dec. 6.

From the Powder Springs Police Department:

Saving teenage driver’s lives one block at a time is just one goal of the Powder Springs Police Department, which is hosting its third, two-hour University of Georgia P.R.I.D.E. seminar free of charge  to help Cobb County parents prepare their 14-, 15-, and 16-year-olds to drive.

Most parents don’t feel prepared to supervise a new teen driver behind the wheel. But parental involvement is key to reducing teen crashes and fatalities. Teens want the practice time so they can get their license, but need to know how to communicate with their nervous parents.
