In addition to the robbery of the Powder Springs restaurant, the men face charges out of Hiram as well.

Powder Springs Police detectives have charged two men in connection with the Feb. 7 robbery at Zaxby’s on Brownsville Road.

The initial report detailed that a white man entered the business as it opened and demanded cash from the employee. That man then fled on foot toward the parking lot behind the business where he got into a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.

According to a news release Friday, 46-year-old Stanley Ray Chastain and 40-year-old Scott Ray Chastain, both of Douglasville, have been charged with robbery in connection with the incident.
