West Cobb Boy Charged As An Adult

He allegedly held a teen and the teen's brother at gunpoint in April.

A West Cobb juvenile has been charged as an adult in connection with the April 22 armed robbery of another teen.

William A. Ellis allegedly arranged to buy an iPhone4 from a teenager he met through the Addicted To All Things Fresh Facebook page, a site where group members buy and sell merchandise, according to an arrest warrant.

After exchanging messages, Ellis and the teen agreed to meet at the entrance of the Signal Hill subdivision.

"The victim and his brother were waiting for said accused," according to the warrant. "He arrived wearing a dark hoodie. The victim got out of the car. They talked. The suspect then produced a dark colored handgun and pointed at the victim's head. The suspect then fled on foot."

Through a court order, police obtained Ellis' phone records, which showed text messages about the meeting with the teen.

Within an hour of the armed robbery, police said Ellis sent this text: "Ok and i just did a Stain On God, Had em like No Please Dont."

In another text detailed in the warrant, Ellis wrote: "Just Hemed him up for a 4 at the top of my Hood."
Ellis was arrested on one count of armed robbery.
