Wire Stolen from Ford Center Cell Tower

A Powder Springs police report values the copper at $1,000.

All the copper wire from the cell phone tower at the was cut and stolen, a MetroPCS employee told police on May 12.

Police were dispatched about 11 a.m. The employee said SBA Communications Corporation owns the property and that all the company’s locks to all its towers are the same.

There were no signs of forced entry, the report says.

The employee said he stops by the tower once a month and does not know when the theft could have occurred.Β
