Career Fair Set for 10 a.m. Today
The event at Goodwill's North Georgia Career Center in Woodstock will feature several employers looking for workers in medical assistant, sales, security, landscaping and maintenance fields, among other areas.
The Georgia Department of Labor will assist Goodwill of North Georgia with a career fair Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at Goodwill’s North Georgia Career Center, 9425 Highway 92 in Woodstock.
The career fair will feature a number of employers, including Allied Barton Security Services, Brickman Group, Clear Signal Network, Crane Materials International, North Georgia Staffing, Sam’s Mart/Shell Gas Station and Stalwart Staffing.
The employers will be recruiting for a number of people to work in the healthcare field, including medical assistants who can speak both English and Spanish and those who can do medical billing. Other employers will be recruiting for sales associates, security officers, landscaping crew members, maintenance workers, forklift operators, machine operators, and general laborers.
