Commission to Vote on Sunday Alcohol

If approved by the board, voters in unincorporated Cobb will choose in March whether to allow the sales, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners is set to vote Tuesday on whether to put Sunday alcohol sales on the March 6 presidential primary ballot, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.

A positive vote from those living in unincorporated Cobb would put the law into effect June 1, 2012, the MDJ reports. On Sundays, stores would be permitted to sell alcohol from 12:30 to 11:30 p.m.
