Help Wanted: Transportation Analyst

Cobb needs a transportation analyst for the county Department of Transportation. The position is funded through the 1 percent Transportation Improvement Program and is contingent upon continued funding of the program. It may end if the program funds are exhausted. 

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with course work emphasis in Civil Engineering or related field; supplemented by three years progressively responsible and knowledgeable experience in transportation development, with emphasis on development plans review; additional years experience in practical aspects of the work may substitute for a portion of the required education; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Three to six years of progressively responsible related experience with at least two years of which includes experience with transportation asset management or planning applications; knowledge of principles and practices of traffic engineering, construction and maintenance, principles and methodologies of GIS and relational databases. 
• Pay: Full time, between $44,366.40 and $69,763.20 annually
